Hello all,

Today I've released a new version of Singling, 2025-12-08-2000, which is included in the new Cactus bundle. Below are the patch notes included in this new release:

General
  • Re-added 1.08 Support

    After some discussion, I've decided to re-add 1.08 support since even though I'm against time-based Dark Patterns, this was the only patch that ever used it, and only for the Deadly Crafts. These crafts were a very small piece of the patch and we can consider them as additional content if anything. Thus if you do end up getting the required Runes during the specific days, then you can try to make them, and if not, no big deal. I also vaguely remember someone saying you could manually set your system clock to get them to generate lol. I'll leave that decision up to you.
Bug Fixes
  • Backported Succulent's Skip Introduction Cinematics Improvements to 1.08. The same improvement introduced to 1.07 and 1.09b is now also implemented for 1.08 as well.
Thus, the new supported versions looks as follows:

  • 1.00 (Classic Launch Version)
  • 1.05b (Polished Classic Version)
  • 1.07 (Expansion Launch Version | CD Exclusive | Early Expansion Beta Build | 1.44 ~ 1.45)
    • This was only playable on Single Player after installing from the CD.Connecting to Battle.net on Launch Day would have updated you to 1.08.
  • 1.08 (Expansion Launch Version | Day 1 Update | Late Expansion Beta Build | 1.48 ~)
  • 1.09b (Polished Expansion Version)
  • 1.10 (Modern Expansion | Final Blizzard North Patch)
As always you can get Cactus at the usual locations: Main Page / Resource Manager
