Been busy with work and kids lately, but I want to share my experience with this mod since I had a good amount of time with it. I will say that this mod and the recent changes have been almost everything I wanted with LoD. No runewords, charms, and the focus on play-to-play itemization have me loving the game again fully. It's the only game I play now. I'm not going to make a spreadsheet of everything I love; some of it I've posted here before, and it hasn't changed much. I thank Fearedbliss for putting the work and passion into his project. For now, I can say that, in my opinion, this is what LoD should have been. It's not the same as Pre LoD, but it's close enough that I don't mind focusing more on LoD content.
If I have the time to learn how to mod, there are two changes I want to make, which are again for my preference and personal taste on my hardware. That is just the fixes to the combat masteries for Barbarian and the Assassin. Also, to revert the run/walk speed to their 1.05b values. I know there is a mod that addresses masteries, but I love Succulent too much to play that mod. Regarding the run/walk, it's just a matter of personal taste. If I know how to fix those in my personal playthrough, then Succulent will be the best mod for me. Regardless, I can't say enough about how close this mod makes me feel that I am playing legacy Diablo II. I thank you again for making this mod.
