My bad bro I’m on auto-pilot lol. In that case, I’d go with P Diamond or P Emerald. TBH I don’t know much about 1.09b Classic. No wonder you care about that bow. Now I understand, lol.

My luck has returned! The amazing itemization in this game means that we can’t really target farm for a specific item, but I knew that Pindle was still my best shot at this item. And it took less than 10 runs this morning. The Bowazon is officially complete. I think hanging with [mention]Erayz[/mention] this weekend and seeing his GG’s helped me get my head back in the game

Now I’m able to run my (of Perfection) gloves with +20 DEX which brings her overall DEX up to 550 with gear. And of course all while maintaining the 8fpa BP.

You are still target farming it though since target farming in this case is hitting monsters with specific Treasure Classes which can drop the item you want. Now the probability of that particular TC being selected and it being the rarity level you want it to be is a different story. But let’s say, you wouldn’t \"target\" Hell Bishibosh because he prolly won’t drop a Diadem (I haven’t checked his TC info).

And yeah, you’re right! I was certainly target farming Pindle (and his TC), but not the Diadem, since technically that would be impossible. In theory one could run Pindle indefinitely and he never chooses to drop the item you’re seeking. That’s the complete random nature of drops and what makes it so damn addictive lol.

Haha yeah, unless you drop down to 1.07 - 1.08, then you could really \"target farm\" by racking lmfao. I guess if you find a stable Diadem rack you would eventually get a set version. I don’t remember if Diadems drop (I think wooden items like bows and staffs don’t drop so that’s why you can’t get a WF in 1.07, so only 1.08 would have the pre 1.09 WF stats since it has a complete TC, doesn’t have working MF though, but then again, MF imo didn’t work in 1.05, or at least not the way people are used to. It only works on white monsters, and prolly differently as well).

I will not count all the runs and items I already have before starting this little \"project\".

Funny thing is Pindle dropped me yet ANOTHER green ’set’ Circlet just a few runs before the Diadem, and I basically cussed him out, lmao. Guess he heard me? I stared at the Diadem for a good 10 seconds in disbelief before taking that first screenshot. :lol:

Anyways, seeing all your 99’s and GG’s, you probably already know \"what’s next\" on my radar.

Let’s see who finds his goal item first! Grandfather and Windforce are supposed to have the same odds of dropping.

Right now I’m running with 787% MF. According to Atma, Pindle has 1 in 25 938 chances of dropping Windforce. The odds per run are very sligthly better than that (very negligible) , since his minions can drop it as well at 1 in 2 231 969 odds lol.

My MF gear is like so:

78 Tancred’s Amulet
146 Ali Baba 2xIst
100 Wealth Dusk Shroud
25 Rhyme Kite Shield
40 Chance Guards
30 Goldwrap
28 Nagel x2
0 Tancred’s Boots (for the set bonus on amulet)

[mention]Erayz[/mention] That’s a very nice setup and quite similar to mine! I’m at 850% MF. The main difference is that I’m running 3 Piece Tal’s (armor, belt, & ammy), which frees up the boot slot for War Traveler. And thanks to diminishing returns, I don’t believe that the ~63MF I have on you makes much of a difference either.

A quick update since I started my little project of compiling all set/uniques I find while running Pindle until I find Windforce.

I didn’t count the runs, but a quick calculation based on my XP gained divided by the average XP I get per run says I have done at least 1393 Pindle runs since last time haha.

80 total unique items found
66 distinct unique items found
2 were Ethereal (Wall of the Eyeless, Heavenly Garb)

Only one Hydra Bow drop, magic quality.
1 failed unique Conqueror Crown dropped

The most common item was Isenhart’s Case (8 times). not surprising at all :lol: .

Bartuc’s Cut-Throat (162% only)
Harlequin’s Crest (120 def)
19 life Small Charm

Did a few more runs this morning and found Schaefer’s Hammer. This is the first time I find it. Now I want to try making a paladin using it

And if I ever find a Gul and another Ist, I want to make a frenzy barb wielding Silence and Fury runewords, just for the style point haha

I just put 50 runs on the board and got trash drops. The magic Gilded Shield and rare Shako were the ones that stung. Getting ready to do another 50.

Since I got Schaefer’s Hammer, I want to make a new paladin using it. So I’ve been trying to find a Balrog Skin rack in 1.07, but no luck so far. Except that I’ve found a Grim Helm rack that dropped me Gaze within 40 runs or so. And also found a 20 Max GC in a super chest.

I ran Pindle in 1.09 a bit after, and found Sazabi’s Cobalt Redeemer which is quite rare I believe.

Also congrats on 1.07 VGaze. I’m leveling my 1.07 sorc as we speak.
